Pete DaffernChief Executive Officer Pete Daffern leads ClairMail as CEO, bringing more than 20 years of operational and business leadership experience in the technology sector. Prior to joining ClairMail, Pete was CEO of technology company Purisma, where he directed the company's strategy and operations with a focus on growth through valuable solutions, customer service and business development initiatives. D&B acquired Purisma in October 2007. Before Purisma, Pete was President of AIM Technology, a provider of applications for contact centers. Previously, Pete was Vice President, Worldwide Business Development, Alliances and Corporate Development for Vitria Technology. Pete also spent more than 10 years at Seagate Software, where he held numerous management and sales positions, including General Manager EMEA. Pete holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics (Honors) from Sheffield University in England. Joe SaleskyFounder, Chairman & Chief Strategy Officer As Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer, Joe Salesky is focused on driving the company's product vision and forging strategic relationships between ClairMail, its customer and partners. Joe is the Founder and former CEO of ClairMail and is a respected thought leader in the mobile banking and payments industry. Prior to ClairMail, Joe served as the CTO of AppStream. Previously, he was the CEO and founder of PictureTalk, Inc. (presently Pixion) and Skytron Corporation. Additionally, Joe held key executive positions at nCUBE and Oracle. Joe has 25 years of experience leading companies and delivering solutions that serve the Fortune 100. Joe contributed to the development and received patents on technologies now part of enterprise infrastructure, including the original patent for web-conferencing. Joe holds a bachelor's degree in economics with an emphasis in corporate finance and computer science at the University of California at Davis. Peter MadamsChief Technology Officer Peter Madams is responsible for the company's platform and technology direction as ClairMail's Chief Technology Officer. Previously, Peter held management positions leading the technical direction at Chordiant Software, Zadu, PictureTalk and nCUBE. Throughout Peter's 25-year career in technology, he has been a successful innovator of many unique business applications in banking, trading systems, media and communications. Peter holds a master's degree in computer science from Manchester University, England where he graduated first class with honors and completed the International Executive program at Columbia University. Steve DenebeimChief Financial Officer Steve Denebeim brings 23 years of leadership experience to his role as Chief Financial Officer, where he is responsible for ClairMail's finance, human resources, administrative and legal functions. His background includes domestic and international positions managing finance, administration, operations, business development, legal, outsourcing and acquisition strategies. His expertise in growing businesses has benefited a broad range of wireless and enterprise software companies, including TalkPlus (CFO), Equilibrium (COO/CFO), MarketTools (Vice President, Business Development) and Softline AG (Corporate Development). Steve began his career in corporate and technology law, serving as Partner and Chairman of the Technology Law Department at Feldman, Waldman & Kline. Steve is a graduate of Stanford University and Hastings College of the Law. Bernard FraenkelVice President of Engineering Bernard Fraenkel is responsible for leading the development and quality assurance of ClairMail's customer interaction platform and applications. Bringing 20 years of engineering experience, Bernard joins ClairMail from Sendmail, where as vice president of engineering he managed the company's technology strategy, product development and oversaw the engineering team. Prior to Sendmail, Fraenkel held VP of engineering positions at Persist Technologies, Bigstep, Scientific Learning and One Touch Systems. Mark UickerVice President of Sales & Business Development, Co-Founder Mark Uicker is responsible for Sales and Business Development at ClairMail. Mark has over 15 years of success in sales management and business development with previous experience at Commtouch, Kaon Interactive, Elron Software and Inso Corporation. In each organization, Mark shaped the direction, developed processes and produced meaningful growth and market penetration. Mark has spent his career building relationships with the Fortune 100 and other leading companies - including Wells Fargo, Hewlett Packard, Sun, Lucent, Avaya, Microsoft, Cisco, Sony, Siemens, IBM, Yahoo and AT&T. Mark holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of New Hampshire. Donald MacCormickVice President of Product Management & Customer Adoption Donald MacCormick is responsible for both product management and end-user customer adoption at ClairMail. Donald brings over 20 years of wide-ranging technology experience, including 17 years (through three successive acquisitions) at SAP, Business Objects, Crystal Decisions and Holistic Systems, where he held a variety of product management, product marketing and corporate strategy roles. Donald has a mathematics degree from the University of Bristol and a masters in the Foundations of Advanced Information Technology from Imperial College at the University of London. Todd ClydeVice President of Channels & Alliances Todd Clyde is responsible for the strategy and management of ClairMail's channel sales and alliance partnerships. Todd has over 20 years of sales and executive management experience in both technology and professional services-related industries. Prior to ClairMail, Todd was Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Alliances at Purisma, a leading provider of solutions-driven master data management (MDM) software for enterprises. Previously, Todd was Vice President of Sales and a founding member of DigitalThink, an e-learning technology and services company. After an Initial Public Offering in 2000, Todd continued to build and lead various sales functions, including International Sales, Channels & Alliances, Product & Field Marketing, and Sales Consulting. Prior to that, Todd spent 13 years selling and managing professional IT consulting services including ten years with Andersen Consulting. Todd holds a B.A. in Management Science from U.C.
