Sand Hill Group to Feature Clairmail at Software 2006 Showcase

Clairmail Recognized as a Top 20 Privately Held Software Pioneer

San Francisco, Calif., March 7, 2006 — Clairmail® announced today it has been selected as one of 20 privately held software companies to be featured in Sand Hill Group's Showcase at Software 2006. Clairmail CEO Joseph Salesky will speak on April 5, 2006 at 4pm and address the company's breakthrough approach to enabling immediate mobile access to enterprise data. The Showcase will take place on April 4-5, 2006 in conjunction with the Software 2006 at the Santa Clara Convention Center.

"The Software Showcase demonstrates that innovation is alive and well in the software industry," said M.R. Rangaswami, co-founder of Sand Hill Group. "Software 2006 hosts Showcase to present the best of what's new in the ecosystem in four key growth areas - Open Source, Security, New Media and more broadly in Enterprise Software. Showcase winners such as Clairmail clearly offer real and useful innovation and have experienced strong customer traction."

Clairmail has invented a unique mobile technology solution that enables users to access information within enterprise applications with a single email or text message. Clairmail transforms messaging into an access technology, enabling instant one-click access to applications and services from any mobile device. Clairmail enables any handheld device with email, SMS or IM to have rich, two way communications with back-end systems and web based services. The Clairmail solution empowers messaging to become the trusted path to internal applications and external resources — allowing users to quickly and efficiently access all critical information when they are mobile.

"Clairmail is honored to be featured among the top innovators in the Enterprise Software space at this year's Software Showcase," said Joseph Salesky, CEO, Clairmail. "Our solution is truly groundbreaking as it provides our customers access to 100% of their enterprise portfolio of applications, bringing the potential to unlock multi-billions of dollars of investment to be used by the mobile worker, whereas other approaches to mobile access can only address a small percentage of the same portfolio of applications. Fat client solutions will continue to fail due to the multitude of handheld device platforms. We're pleased that our hard work, customer successes and innovation have been recognized by the Sand Hill Group."
