ClairMail's Breakthrough Technology

The ClairMail System is the only solution to integrate the distinct technologies necessary to deliver a scaleable, reliable and practically unlimited range of mobile application functionality. Its unique design provides straightforward implementation and management for financial institutions and ease of use and familiarity for their customers.

Much of the power of the ClairMail System is its reliance on standards-based components and protocols. This enables wide horizontal scalability across many different devices, protocols, carriers and applications.

The ClairMail System server either resides on-premise behind the financial institution's firewall or in a secure managed service environment. It is comprised of four different technologies, each uniquely designed to provide specific functionality in the processing of mobile data requests.


Cross Protocol Messaging

Enables the ClairMail System to support every message protocol (e.g. text messaging, wireless email, mobile IM, etc.) and every type of network. Consists of:

  • Service Guard: Protects ClairMail System servers from intrusion attempts and denial-of-service attacks. This module provides IP level protection and anti-spam protection.

  • Request Parser: Interprets the request, regardless of message protocol.

Access Control

Provides authentication, verifies the requestor's identity, confirms request entitlement and empowers the requestor with encrypted mobile "Single-Sign-On" functionality through its utilization of access credentials which are stored in the requestor's profile.


Integration Automation & Transaction Management

Allows enterprise application management and message/transaction state management with its object-oriented scripting framework. Consists of:

  • Request-Action-Bus: Responsible for mapping requests to service scripts. Uses requestor profile information to augment requests, thereby minimizing keystrokes required for request submission. Scripts are defined to provide access to existing applications and to select the resulting information.

  • Service Connector: Provides interfaces for the request scripts to communicate with any back-end service or application.

Provisioning & Services Management

All of the technologies sit on a single integrated management layer, consisting of service administration, profile management, service positioning, service monitoring and usage reporting.
